GRANT ST. SHAVING CO. wins Best Short Film over 5 mins at the Smalls Short Film Festival in London.

GRANT ST. SHAVING CO. screens at the River to River Florence Indian Film Festival in Italy and the South Asian International Film Festival in New York City.

Pia co-stars in MERCY episode 117 on NBC, March 17, 2010.

2009

Pia recently worked on GRANT ST. SHAVING CO. with director Payal Sethi, on her debut film.


MITSEIN, directed by Aparna Malladi debuts at the 2009 Mumbai FIlm Festival in India.

Pia is working with PUNCHING AT THE SUN director Tanuj Chopra on his new film, commissioned and funded by ITVS, tentatively titled PIA. The film will shoot in California in early Fall of 2009.


Pia has completed shooting for HBO's new pilot, THE WONDERFUL MALADYS. Pia plays Ruchi -- the show stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Molly Parker and Nate Corddry.

CANADA has been selected for screening in Los Angeles at Film Independent's Cinema Lounge on July 21st.

CANADA screens at Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival on May 3rd.

CANADA screens at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles on April 22 and 25.


Bollywood debut:
8 X 10 (TASVEER), directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, releases worldwide on April 3rd. Pia plays a supporting role as Sally Kohli in this thriller starring Akshay Kumar.
